A Legacy of Love and Wellness

My mother instilled in me a profound appreciation for holistic living, connected to nature and our Scandinavian heritage. Growing up in Alberta's heartland of Scandinavian culture, just north of Kingman - Canada's Lutefisk capital! - made it easy to embrace our roots. She taught my sisters and I about local flora and fauna, the healing power of sun, nature, exercise, and hard work.

As an adult, I discovered the trendy hot/cold therapy, a centuries-old Scandinavian tradition. I fell in love with the invigorating sensation of rolling in snow after a hot tub soak or the refreshing ice bucket splash after a sauna.

My journey took me into holistic perinatal care after my first son's birth, leading me to become a midwife. I honed my business skills through entrepreneurship and earning an MBA. Yet, I yearned to merge my passion for natural health with hot/cold therapy's benefits.

Last fall, I seized the opportunity to revive a struggling spa and bring my vision to life. Today, you see the result of years of planning, learning, and living Nordic culture. Our traditional Finnish hot stone sauna, Himalayan salt room, and every aspect of our business embody holistic wellness.

We welcome you to experience our Nordic oasis and share in the legacy of love and wellness that my mother instilled in me.

Please come and join us for our grand opening open house, Saturday September 14 from 10am-2pm. We will have salted caramel lattes, gift bags, and prizes.
